Serena Kuo is a director, videographer and multimedia consultant at Studio Mercury. Her in-depth experience has created a wide breath of video work for clients in music, fashion, corporate, education and non-profit institutions. Serena Kuo’s hands-on involvement in film production encompasses producing, photography, directing, cinematography and editing. Since 2001, Serena Kuo has collaborated with talents in all stages of film production and worked within a large talent pool for many of studio’s clients.

Serena graduated from New York University with a B.F.A. in Film and Television Production and later attended RISD’s Digital Media M.F.A. program with a focus on single and multi-channel video installation. Between degrees, Serena worked at the New York based commercial production company Identity, where she practiced cinematography in the film studio setting for clients such as Hyundai, Careerbuilder, L’Oréal, and Tommy Hilfiger. Her films have gained international attention. Her work with Lloyd Neck has appeared in numerous festivals including the Sundance Film Festival, NewFest Film Festival, OutFest Film Festival, Frameline32 Film Festival, 8th FIEC, Festival Internacional de Escuelas de Cine, Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA, and the Seattle International Film Festival.
